The Student

Well it’s time to hit the hay. Relatively early for us, just 10:40 pm. I’ve had enough with studyin’ though. I have some big tests starting Tuesday and I’m not sure if I’m going to pass. Tried taking a similar load of classes to the time I was at Warner. My life situation doesn’t allow for that kind of stupidity anymore. I’ve got too many other things going on. A beautiful pregnant wife, a job as a youth pastor and stuff I’m trying to do on the side to make more dough. I can’t keep all the stuff in my head. It’s okay though. Next semester I’ll know better.

The idea was to get as much done as possible before the baby came. I think it’s smarter to just stay the course and be a normal person for a change. I know Kristine will thank me.

Needless to say I’ve been looking more like this recently trying to keep my eyes open. Looking forward to the middle of February, when all the tests will be out of the way.

Kristine is of course doing enough work around the house and in the youth group for the both of us. She’s really helping me out. Making sure I get through these tests. I really appreciate her.

Sat tonight on the couch with Kristine and tried to see the baby kick. Kristine sees it already. I don’t think my eyes are adept enough to perceive quick movements. The words I’m used to reading have a tendency of not moving too much on the page – at least before 11 pm.
